Maximum strength.

The CSL DD QR2 (8 Nm) package includes the Boost Kit 180, a powerful 180W power supply that unlocks the full performance of the direct drive motor.

8 Nm peak torque.

Using the included Boost Kit 180, the CSL DD operates in its 8 Nm mode. This provides much stronger feedback, and as a result, you’ll feel the subtle cues more clearly too. This high level of torque can be sustained without the need for active cooling, with the extruded and CNC-machined aluminium casing acting as the structural chassis as well as the heatsink.

Motorsport-derived quick release system.

The new QR2 quick release delivers rock-solid performance at the highest level. The shape of the coupling was developed for use in real-world motorsport, originally used in the 2022 BMW M4 GT3 race car.

Everything just clicks.

Steering Wheel attachment has never been easier. Simply bring the wheel towards the base and push to fit – no need to touch the quick release.

Hot-swap.

The carbon fibre-reinforced polyamide construction allows for fast and secure switching of steering wheels. Hot-swap between different wheel designs without needing to restart the sim or your Wheel Base.

  • PC: The CSL DD QR2 Wheel Base is compatible with PC when combined with a Fanatec Steering Wheel. Check the individual Steering Wheel product pages for Wheel Base compatibility.
  • Xbox®: The CSL DD QR2 Wheel Base becomes compatible with Xbox One® and Xbox Series X|S when used with any Fanatec Xbox-licensed Steering Wheel.
  • PlayStation®: The CSL DD QR2 Wheel Base is not compatible with any PlayStation® console and cannot be upgraded to achieve compatibility.
