Refunds

  1. Should a purchased item be faulty on opening the packaging, SimulatorCave will exchange the item subject to the customer reporting the faulty item on unboxing within 24 hours of receiving the item.
  2. A customer may choose to return an unwanted item within 7 days of purchase subject to a 20% handling fee applicable and subject to the item be returned in the original packaging and in full working order and without any visible or functional damage.
  3. Customer is responsible for shipping/courier services & insurance for such on all Returns for Refund.

Shipping terms and conditions

  1. On request, SimulatorCave will arrange shipping on behalf of you, the purchaser, as a value-added service to you. SimulatorCave is not liable for any damage or loss in or during shipping. The risk of loss and/or damage during shipping lies between the courier company and you, the purchaser.
  2. Since Courier services limit claims of loss or damage to R1000, we recommend requesting additional liability cover should you choose a delivery option or ensure shipments are covered by personal or household insurance products.
  3. The Customer/Purchaser is responsible for shipping/courier services & insurance for such on all Repair/Exchange/Refunds

 Warranty on NEW items purchased

  1. Original Manufacturers warranties apply on all NEW units Sold as per the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.
  2. SimulatorCave manufactured equipment is covered for a period of 24 months from date of sale against manufacturing defects.
  3. Fanatec Equipment is covered by a 12 Month Limited Warranty from date of sale effective 3 July 2024 as per Fanatec Terms and Conditions HERE
  4.  MOZA equipment is covered by a limited warranty from date of sale depending on the specific item purchased as per MOZA Terms and Conditions  HERE
  5. SimulatorCave will cover all costs and logistics involved in the event of an item needed to be returned to a supplier outside of South Africa for repair within the warranty period as stated above.
  6. Should a purchased item be faulty on opening the packaging, SimulatorCave will exchange the item subject to the customer reporting the faulty item on unboxing within 24 hours of receiving the item.
  7. Warranty will be null and void if the item is damaged due to misuse, neglect, lightning, surge or damage as a result of improper use, as described by the OEM warranties
  8. SimulatorCave is not liable for damage due to power failures during Firmware updates of electronic hardware. It is the customers responsibility to ensure a stable and reliable power supply before initiating firmware updates on electronic equipment.
  9. Warranties are not transferrable and exists with the original purchaser and SimulatorCave.

Warranty on Pre-Owned items purchased

  1. Warranties are not transferrable and exists with the original purchaser and SimulatorCave.
  2. SimulatorCave provides a limited warranty on all pre-owned items sold as indicated on the invoice.
  3. In the event of a customer reporting a fault on an item purchased during the warranty period:
    • SimulatorCave will firstly endeavor to repair the item within reasonable time;
    • In the event if the item cannot be repaired satisfactorily, SimulatorCave will exchange the item with a similar one with the customers approval.
    • Lastly, if both of the above options cannot be fulfilled, SimulatorCave will refund the full purchase price to the purchaser.
